A Judeo-Christian Perspective means seeing God as central to our understanding of history. In this curriculum, the student is frequently asked to consider, “What was God doing in this moment of history?” The answers are found and explored in the Bible (ancient times), church history, and the modern missions movement. This overlapping of what most people study in history, which we could call “secular,” and the “sacred” history which we also consider helps us to gain insight into some of the incredible timing, amazing people, and fascinating effects of God’s interaction in our world. Because of this, students will not only gain academic understanding of history, but grow in their personal understanding of God’s faithfulness and wisdom.
