![[The Highly Irregular Diana Waring Newsletter]](../images/newsletter.gif)
Diana loves writing for a newsletter, but finding the time to put one together seems impossible at times. That is why she has found having an Internet newsletter so exciting. Her Highly Irregular Diana Waring Newsletter is filled with encouragement, thoughts, real-life homeschooling experiences, humor, recipes, and more. "Irregular" means it isn't always written at regularly scheduled intervals (i.e., weekly, monthly, quarterly), but Diana tries!
- Issue 27 - December, 2003
- "Joy to the world, the Lord is come..." As the disbelieving eyeballs of bank tellers and customers peered at us in astonishment, my children and I continued to quietly carol in as unobtrusive a manner as possible in that most unusual setting...
-

- "We can be TOLD how to sing a passage, SHOWN how to sing a passage, have someone DEMONSTRATE how to sing a passage, LISTEN to a recording of the passage, etc., but it doesn't really become a part of us until we PRACTICE it on our own. We can want to know it, think we know it, act like we know it. . . But the rubber meets the road when you actually have to open your mouth and sing it." Email It!
- Issue 20 - December, 2000
- "Christmas Eve, 1990. 'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house... something was going on that I was not allowed to see. My mother and my husband ordered me to my room while they performed the peddler-opening-his-pack routine. Clunk. Clunk-clunk. Giggles. Chuckles. Clunk. Wide-eyed, though very secretive enthusiasm on the part of my family. Hmmm." Email It!
- Issue 19 - 2 November, 2000
- Diana Waring earnestly disclaims to be any sort of "Martha Stewart" in homeschooling but in this close-to-home newsletter she gives a few healthy tips on organization. Email It!
